Bob Brown
Lubbock Christian University
Lubbock, TX
My name is Bob Brown. I am the grounds supervisor for Lubbock Christian University. I started using the D20S a little over 3 years ago. This year we bought our second D20S. The reason we have two machines is because one is in a permanent location, and the other is mobile. Both machines are used to inject liquid fertilizer into the irrigation systems we have on campus.

Well water is used for all of our irrigation purposes. It is also used for geo-thermal heating and cooling. Some of these areas have a “pump-and-dump” system for the units. The dump part of the system dumps the well water into a lake we have on our golf course. We are in the process of reclaiming that water to use for irrigation purposes. This water will be used at the permanent location of our D20S. We have two 3,000 gallon tanks that hold our liquid fertilizer, with the Dosatron tied into them. This location irrigates our women’s softball field, our soccer field, and high school baseball field, along with others areas on campus.Since our well water is used for geo-thermal purposes, there are some irrigation areas on campus that have to be isolated. In those areas, we use our mobile hook-up, which is a 300 gallon tank mounted on a trailer with the D20S attached to it. With our “mobile” machine, we can go anywhere on campus and fertilize that area.
I’ve had several comments about how well our campus looks, and it is due in part to being able to fertilize while we are irrigating. Our coaches of soccer and softball have particularly been pleased with how their fields look. This always makes me feel good, as I am pretty picky about the way things look around here. It’s great to hear that “clicking” noise, knowing our fields are going to look better than ever!

"I wish my car ran as well as my Dosatron fertilizer injectors!"
Hunter's Moon Farm, Oak Harbor, WA

"Three years ago, when we started to plant our five acres with blueberries, we knew that sustainability was important to us, but just as important was the need for our drip irrigation system to accurately fertilize the roots using our organic compost tea.
"That’s where Dosatron came in. It is perfect for drip line fertilization. Best of all, it’s water-powered, so it’s sustainable AND saves us time and money!"

"We have been using Dosatron fertilizer injectors proudly for over 20 years. They are easy to use, simple to maintain and no one can match their service!"
Harold Witzke, Witzke Greenhouses, Courtice, ON, Canada

"I’ve been using Dosatron for over 10 years, and I’m very happy with their product. I’ve tried other fertilizer injectors, but Dosatrons just work better. That’s why I’m a loyal customer!”
Gene Batson, Batson's Greenhouse, Mount Dora, FL

"For 15 years, I have installed Dosatron fertilizer injectors in every new greenhouse location. They're accurate, reliable, and simple to operate!"

Evelyn and Mary Weidner, Weidners', Encinitas, CA

"Dosatron makes a difference with our extraordinary plant material."

"Portable, versatile, and dependable . . . our Dosatron injectors keep our crops looking good!"

"Essential for keeping plants fresh in our retail stores, that's why we have 42 units!"
"Paul has been in the greenhouse business for over 25 years, growing for the past 18 years. Our first fertilizer injectors were Dosmatics, but every year we had problems with them. We would have to take them in for maintenance each fall and during some seasons, when the greenhouses were back up, we would still have to run out and buy a new one because they weren’t working. We stored them in water, over the winter in our basement, as they directed but they just ended up being a headache each year.
We purchased our first Dosatron a few years ago and now use three and will purchase one more in the future. We have four, 30' x 100' greenhouses and a small house for propagation. We sell only in the spring.
What we like about Dosatron is it is virtually maintenance free. They are easy- to-use and to calibrate. We run fertilizer through at a pH of 2-3 and have high iron in our water. We only clean the filters one or two times during the season. The filter traps any particulate matter and keeps it out of the piston parts.
We have not had one break or crack. We find them simple to operate and have excellent results. I test with a pH meter and an EC meter.
Dosatron is a great value. So simple to use on a daily basis and set up and take down, along with cleaning and storage, is a snap. Not having to worry about the injector, frees us up to work on other projects.
At the end of the season, we inject bleach into the injector to flush our water lines, I then soak the Dosatron in a solution to remove the rust stains, rinse, and clean with soap and water. Then I'm done until next year. We order a seal kit each spring.
Overall, the Dosatron is easy, reliable, and virtually maintenance free."
Cherrie Silverman
Cherry Blossoms Full Service Florist
Westminster, CO
Master Florist Cherrie Silverman, owner of Cherry Blossoms Full Service Florist and active member of several horticultural affiliations including AIFD, CPF, CPD and AAF, is quite busy these days. So busy, in fact, that her retail floral location in Westminster, Colorado is experiencing volumes of business reminiscent of a major holiday season.
Beautiful flowers are Ms. Silverman’s livelihood, and to keep her arrangements looking their best, she relies on a floral dispensing system which includes the Dosatron D25RE2 unit with a dispensing nozzle to deliver just the right amount of water containing Chrysal Crystal Clear, a preservative which keeps cloudy water to a minimum.
Ms. Silverman has been using her Dosatron for nearly 15 years, and says of her experience, ”The best! I truly believe that using the Dosatron system has been a big factor of the success of my business. My clients tell me that my flowers last longer than they have ever experienced, especially roses. I buy my product direct from the growers, cut the stems underwater; use a quick hydrating solution, then place in the Dosatron calibrated ‘correct amount of preservative’ water. That's the key, having the correct amount of preservative in the water. That's what the Dosatron accomplishes.” She added, “I believe in the Dosatron. It works.”
We’re proud to deliver reliable solutions to meet our customer’s needs and wish Cherry Blossoms great success for many years to come. To learn more about Cherry Blossoms, please visit http://www.cherryblossomsflorist.com.
Steve Pierce, Colorado
Steve Pierce, homeowner and hobby gardener, is planning to fertigate an extensively landscaped acre of land in the next year. He plans to use Dosatron products to reach his goals based upon his initial experience with Dosatron’s customer service team. Mr. Pierce was impressed by Dosatron’s staff, who were quite helpful in explaining our systems. “My complements to you and your staff.” Mr. Pierce wrote to Lela Kelly, Vice President of Dosatron. “It’s nice to know there are companies left that still understand customer service.” Thank you Mr. Pierce for choosing Dosatron!
Dave Tansey, Monterey, CA
“We have a small planting in Monterey, California and just had a great experience talking to Jane in Dosatron Customer Service. I learned more in 15 minutes talking to her than I might have learned attending a full workshop. It didn't matter that I'm not a big account, she carried me systematically through the whole Dosatron system from which unit to purchase and tips on installation and operation, to where to find resources on the web, to my local Dosatron dealer. She was amazing. I purchased my Dosatron from their local representative in Watsonville, California - Crop Production Services. Their service was equally outstanding.”
